This project recaptures the spirit of the Iron Horse Trail by bringing in rail artifacts, sculpture, shade arbors made out of reused railroad lines to create an entirely new and contemporary look for the trail. Sculptural, massive pieces of reclaimed wood will create comfortable seating areas amidst generous shade trees. The project will include an improved separate walking/jogging path with native meadow planting, corten rusted planters, and bird houses.
