Bishop Ranch is one of the largest and most prestigious business parks in the United States. They are also one of the most forward thinking. As part of their sustainability initiative, which includes on-site composting of greenwaste, we are working with them to develop a 1-acre demonstration farm that can provide educational and recreational activities for tenants and visitors. The farm will reuse on-site stormwater and feature chickens, a small vineyard, fruite trees, and a plaza for produce pickup and food trucks to park. This work-in-progress drawing illustrates our process in developing a comprehensive master plan for the site.
